AECOM is seeking a Cost Estimating Manager to be based in New York, NY.
The CM Cost Estimating Manager is a supervisory position responsible for planning, organizing and supervision in preparation and management of project cost estimates.

The Cost Estimating Manager is a Cost Estimator in his own right having educational background and a wide range of experience in various technical disciplines including but not limited to civil, structural, electrical, signal systems, communication and security systems, and mechanical systems.
Overseeing, coordinating and preparing cost estimates for the PMC Consultant Team.
Supervise and oversee the completion of cost estimates which he/she delegates to mid-level or discipline specific estimators operating under his/her direction
Familiar with Agencies cost estimating processes and procedures.
Manage the estimators/estimating resources afforded to him/her for the PMC Project.
Oversee the coordination of cost estimates between the PMC consultant, NYCT, and the Contractor and will assist the Program Team in presenting and negotiating said cost estimates.
Understands Agencies Process for preparing project cost estimates including cost structure (overheads, G&A, insurances).
Capable of Managing the preparation of an estimate and lead the project team in estimating reviews.
Supervises junior staff through task development, establishing and maintaining goals and expectations, and documenting performance related issues and achievements.
Understands estimating terminology and measures and recognizes processes/project actions that may impact the project.
BA/BS + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Valid driver's license.
15 plus years of prior experience working with Transportation Agencies.
MTA Construction and Development or NYC Transit
