AECOM Structural Technician II in Murray, Utah
AECOM ’s Water Business Line is seeking a creative and highly motivated Structural CADD Drafter to support a wide range of water and water resource projects. This is a technical role working with engineers and project managers on a variety of projects. This position will be based out of Murray, Utah; but also has the option to work remotely.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Produce complete and accurate water/wastewater hydraulic structures, dam hydraulic structures, spillways, intake towers and outlet work structures in CADD software.
Knowledge of concrete structures and rebar/structural steel.
Ability to take general direction and simple sketches from engineers to digitize or trace concepts using CADD software, such as AutoCAD, Revit or MicroStation.
Works under limited supervision.
Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines.
Follows specific, standardized procedures to achieve set results and deadlines.
Performs both routine and non-routine, complex design assignments that require judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations.
Uses applications to scale and edit assignments involving the use of computer aided design and other graphics software (e.g. CADD software) to achieve set results and deadlines.
HS Diploma + two (2) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Required Software experience:
Strong technical progression structural engineering and design.
Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards.
Experience with other software a plus:
This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.

Remote work is possible.
Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The target salary range for this position is $20.30 - $28 per hour (non-exempt).
