Responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to:
Support various clients by providing regulatory compliance support, such as
Environmental Management System (EMS) and Environmental Management Information System (EMIS) implementation and maintenance, Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) reporting, solid waste/recycling, pollution prevention (P2), and green procurement program (GPP) plans, EHS program development; industrial safety, qualitative exposure assessments and industrial hygiene, environmental due diligence and investigations
Prepare regulatory updates summarizing new regulatory actions
Develop and conduct training for clients, both in-person and web-based
Perform site reviews to evaluate compliance with regulations
Develop, maintain, and update databases
B.S. / B.A. in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Biology, Engineering, or other related field.
2-5 years EHS experience
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Critical thinker; thrives on solving problems and working in a team environment; Ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment and offer solutions when issues arise
Experience in regulatory compliance, including program development and conducting and coordinating audits and training
Experience working with industrial clients and/or military installations.
Knowledge of domestic United States regulatory compliance programs, including DOT hazardous material transportation; EPA, including RCRA and TSCA; FMCSA, OSHA GHS
Experience with database development and management
Experience interpreting regulations and standards
Experience conducting regulatory review audits
Experience conducting training classes
OSHA 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations & Emergency Response (HAZWOPER)
ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Training
