Job Summary
The Transportation Business Line of AECOM is actively seeking to hire Roadway Construction Inspectors (TRET Level I - IV) for transportation construction projects with the West Virginia Division of Highways for WVDOT District #5 and District #5.
Responsibilities:
Oversees and performs field inspections to monitor road conditions, bridges, road construction, and traffic, and material using in road construction and repair.
Reviews construction, maintenance, or traffic projects for compliance with project specifications and plans.
Compile quantities and review construction reports and other data.
Participate in various contractual meetings with WVDOT and contractors.
Minimum Requirements
HS diploma and 2 plus years of related experience
Experience with State DOT Transportation construction services projects focusing on the supervisory of construction inspection and contract compliance.
Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs needed.
Candidates will be required to achieve certification in the field testing procedures in concrete, soil aggregate, hot mix asphalt, and National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) certification may be required.
Preferred Qualifications
Some experience with WVDOT construction inspection with District #5 or #6 but not required.
