AECOM Maintenance Scheduler in Monaca, Pennsylvania

Job Summary

This Maintenance Scheduler position is in our Energy Operations and Maintenance Division and is located in Monaca, PA at the Shell Cracker Plant Facility.

Position Description or Typical Responsibilities:

Planning preventive/corrective maintenance activities daily for three shifts of facilities maintenance support, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and general maintenance technicians; spearheading the purchasing function, including sourcing maintenance supplies, vendor services and OEM parts, obtaining proposals from qualified suppliers, preparing requisitions, and managing invoices; providing schedules and coordinating work; and developing machine-specific and general job plans. The Scheduler also assists with the safety program.

Experience working with a CMMS is required, as is the ability to create spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations and the ability to create and present planning/scheduling metrics to management staff. Successful candidates demonstrate the ability to work with limited supervision in a fast-paced industrial, large commercial or logistics environment.

Job Summary:

  • Knowledgeable of scheduling concepts and principles including effects on financial performance.

  • Familiar with data sources and supports basic schedule development.

  • Supports analysis of schedule, identifies and investigates project schedule variances.

  • Collects and updates data and updates and produces scheduling reports.

  • Assists in the development and maintenance of WBS and support activities to implement applicable coding. Supports basic schedule development.

  • Supports gathering and assembling data for schedule updating.

  • Supports measurement of project schedule progress and gathers and assembles data for schedule and network updating.

  • Understands CPM scheduling concepts and principles and able to develop basic engineering, procurement and construction logic.

  • Understands concepts and principles of scope control and change management and earned value methodology.

  • Supports monthly report preparation.

  • May participate in planning and scheduling meetings to gain insight to planning and scheduling issues.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 6 years' of relevant experience.

  • Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.

  • Proficiency in a CMMS, such as Maximo, SAP or EAMS.

  • Must have experience with P6.

  • Ability to work from aerial lifts and scissor lifts from a height up to and above 30 feet.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Maximo or SAP.

  • Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.

  • Preventive and/or Predictive maintenance planning experience.

  • Experience in purchasing maintenance supplies, vendor services, and OEM machine parts.

  • Administrative, organizational and computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office programs (Excel, Word, and Outlook).

  • Ability to coordinate parts and assign the appropriate skilled labor to ensure successful completion.

  • Ability to write processes and procedures related to facility maintenance work.

  • Experience utilizing Continuous Improvement disciplines such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, 4 M's, etc.

  • Demonstrated understanding of an effective safety culture.

  • Education, experience, and skills that align with growth into a leadership, management, or supervisory position.
