AECOM in Markham, ON are looking to hire two (2) full time Environmental Technicians within the Remediation Team in Whitby, Ontario. This challenging position will be responsible for the execution of remediation activities at various sites across Ontario.

Minimum 2 years environmental field experience in Environmental Remediation including Phase II ESAs, soil and groundwater remediation
Experience with Radiation Protection Plans (RPP), processes and instrumentation would be an asset
Prior knowledge and management of environmental remediation projects including large scale excavations and other remedial field activities
Knowledge of provincial and federal environmental regulations
competent in soil characterization and description/classification
Thorough understanding of soil and water sampling and laboratory submission protocols
Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment, excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to lead large assignments and work well in a team environment
Working knowledge of environmental, health & safety regulations
