AECOM is seeking a highly talented Project Management Assistant for immediate employment in the Minneapolis office.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Provides administrative support to professional/technical staff in the St. Louis Park and downtown Minneapolis, MN offices performing a variety of tasks
Support PM with job set up, project monitoring, cost control, EACs, changes and reporting
Perform invoice preparation - review sub-consultant invoices for accuracy and consistency, assemble backup per client requirement
Respond to client inquiries and work to resolve client disallowances
Conducts or assists in the documentation of accounting projects. Prepare monthly reports for client
Under close supervision, follows established procedures in performing accounting duties of limited scope and complexity requiring professional knowledge of accounting theory and principles
Interact with internal & intra-office departments to resolve project specific discrepancies
Conference Center support/backup
Computer technology – assists with WebEx set up, multiple location meeting set up, conference call set up
Maintains and places office supply/vendor orders
Assist with incoming / outgoing mail, FedEx, UPS
Accomplishes administrative functions with the use of Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Performs basic administrative duties – Schedules meetings, assists with travel arrangements, assists with expense report preparation
Works closely with administrative assistants from all business lines to help with daily administrative responsibilities
Other projects as assigned
High School diploma
6+ years of experience
Proficient in using spreadsheets, word processing and standard office software
Excellent problem solving, math and accounting skills
Superior organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage tasks with aggressive deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer focus/excellent relationship with Project Managers and project team
Have a firm understanding of billing requirements per the contract
Displays knowledge and ability to apply standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related accounting tasks
- College degree ideally with a major involving business or accounting practices
