AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated environmental Intern for employment in the Minneapolis office during Summer 2020. The responsibilities of this internship include, but are not limited to:
Assist in preparing engineering related calculations, permit applications, and environmental regulatory analysis;
Assist with preparation of annual compliance reports for industrial clients;
Assist with the preparation of spill plans and pollution prevention plans;
Assist with field work (e.g., groundwater and soil sampling, remediation system operations, site inspections);
Collect and enter environmental laboratory data;
Compare investigation findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to assess compliance, draft reports documenting results and presenting findings; and
Miscellaneous assignments on an as-needed basis.
AA/AS (US) + None or Diploma/Certification (Canada) + None
Currently in pursuit of Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Meteorology, or related field
Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software
GIS and/or CAD skills
