Applicant will lead and provide assistance in all phases of municipal infrastructure projects from conceptual and detailed design to engineering services during construction. These projects may include storm water systems (sewer/watercourse/best management practices), sanitary sewer systems, water mains and other infrastructure such as roadways, water, and site development applications.
Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team
Ensures that projects meet or exceed goals established in the scope of work and project plans.
Responsible for following up on commitments associated with the project and clients.
Market and secure additional work with client.
Work with other managers, project engineers for the various elements of a project.
Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
BA/BS + 6 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
12+ years of related municipal design/PM experience in water/sanitary/drainage projects.
Have a broad general technical background.
Must have the ability to manage projects, interface with clients and enjoy being hands on technically in the project.
Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards - local experience preferred.
Must have the technical ability to be very involved in the design of the project
