Job Summary

AECOM has immediate openings for Material Coordinators in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.


Purpose and Scope:

Will be responsible for overseeing and managing specific warehousing operations utilizing SAP and current business processes in accordance with published Statement of Work, development and implement continuous improvements to meet customer KPIs, and establishment of an inspection of materiel processing such as receiving, shipping and storage requirements.

Essential Responsibilities:

1) Oversees inventory of equipment supported by warehouse operations. Including but not limited to utilization of SAP and other data bases.

2) Manages warehousing functions including receipt, storage, and disbursement of property.

3) Updating work instructions and SOPs as required.

4) Requesting of supplies and equipment for operational use.

5) Advises customers and management on warehousing efforts or performance improvements.

6) Supervise, coordinate, schedule and plan all activities of warehouse employees.

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

High school education or equivalent with a minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience with emphasis in inventory and warehouse management and property accountability experience preferred. Must have working knowledge of MS Office and database management software. Must have the ability to work in a fast paced team environment. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, and members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions in a practical situation. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Operation of forklift is incidental to the job and training will be provided. Must be willing to train in order to operate equipment.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:

Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.
