AECOM Environmental Technician in Midland, Michigan
AECOM is seeking an Environmental Technicianto be based in our Midland, MI office. This position will support our EHS/Air team within our Environment business line.

The Environmental Technician will support our EHS team both in the field and office, working with air quality calculations, data collection and analysis, reporting, and regulations/compliance.
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
Utilizes basic scientific principles, theories, practices and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems with limited scope.
Collects and enters data, and applies technical principles and theories.
Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
Entry-level position; may not require previous experience.

High School Graduate
Due to the nature of work, U.S. Citizenship is required
Valid U.S. Driver’s License
Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or related is preferred
1-2 years of experience preferred
Air quality experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience/education
Relevant experience that includes environmental testing or analytical laboratory experience is desired
Knowledge in the practices required to generate valid scientific data
Able to work both independently and in a project team environment
Ability to record test data legibly, completely, and accurately
Aptitude for operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment
Ability to recognize hazards and work safely in an industrial setting
Show initiative and interest in professional development
Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
Relocation is not available for this position.
Travel is required for this position.
Candidates may be asked to submit a pre-hire Motor Vehicle Record screening, drug test, and/or medical surveillance screening.
