Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, a highly talented Senior Bridge Inspector employment in the Miami, Florida office. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in performing Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) for highway and bridge including movable bridges construction projects. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects. The incumbent can look forward to projects including various assignments for the Department of Transportation and local municipalities throughout Southeast Florida.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for performing highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout, making, and checking engineering computations, inspecting construction work, and conducting field tests

  • Responsible for coordinating and managing the lower level inspectors

  • Work is performed under the general supervision of the CEI Project Administrator and/or CEI Senior Project Engineer

Minimum Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent

  • 5+ years of experience in construction inspection, two (2) year of which shall have been in bridge including movable bridges and/or roadway construction inspection or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, skills, knowledge, abilities and experience

  • CTQP Paving Level certification

  • CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I and II

  • CTQP Earthwork Level I

  • CTQP Concrete Level I and II

  • CTQP Pile Driving

  • CTQP Drilled Shafts

  • CTQP Final Estimates Level I

  • FDOT Intermediate MOT

  • IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector

  • Nuclear Radiation Safety

  • FDEP Stormwater Inspector Certification

  • A strong background in bridge construction including movable bridges desired

  • Must possess a valid driver's license

  • Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required
