Job Summary

AECOM is in need of a Civil Engineer with Geometric design experience to support the early phases of the Tren Maya project.

this position will be an important part of the early design phase of the project and will collaborate closely with the project leadership team. THIS POSITION WILL BE LOCATED IN VALLADOLID.

Primary job functions will include the following:

  • Propose and validate the geometry of linear works.

  • Coordinate with the layout team the different fronts or sections of the linear project.

  • Verify the coordination between the different work teams, through: proposal of designs, revision of regulations, carry out controls

  • Participate in client meetings to discuss project requirements, explain proposed project completion approach

  • Lead the preparation of technical proposals

  • Participate in project schedule and budget requirements

  • Complete quality control of project tasks and products of technical and administrative staff assigned to the project

  • Carry out project and client management activities

  • Interact directly with client and subcontractor to gather information and discuss project requirements

  • Participate in scopes, budgets and schedules for project assignments

  • Regularly review and evaluate project preparation efforts

  • Assigns tasks to technical and administrative staff working on the project

  • Supervise and motivate staff under his/her management for the achievement of their individual goals

Minimum Requirements

  • Título universitario y 10 años de experiencia en proyecto de vías férreas

  • Conocimiento de normativa de infraestructura ferroviaria nacional e internacional

  • Manejo de software de diseño

  • Experiencia en diseño de vías férreas, aparatos de vía, implantación y sistemas ferroviarios

  • Solido conocimiento de interfases ferroviaria

  • Manejo de Office y programas de diseño (Autocad)

  • Disponibilidad de movilizarse fuera de la Ciudad de Mexico

  • Ingles intermedio/ alto
