Job Description

AECOM Mexico seeks (Environmental Specialist)

Principal functions:

  • Monitoring of environmental impact studies in civil works

  • Analyze and recommend devices and measures for the conservation and rescue of impacted flora and fauna

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Environmental Engineering or other related field required + 2 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Experience:

  • Experience performing environmental field work, environmental impact assessment, risk assessment, ISO 9000

  • Able to use spreadsheets, word processing and standard office software

  • Strong written and spoken communication skills

  • Organization and time management skills

  • Interest in Environment and/or Social Work

  • Flexibility to work on a variety of technical projects, a positive attitude, willingness to learn and a commitment to workplace health and safety are imperative.

  • work experience in Environmental projects, social projects, specific offshore or hydrocarbon projects.Previous

Preferences:

  • 5 years of experience

  • Languages: Bilingual: fluent Spanish and English
