AECOM is looking for an enthusiastic Professional / Senior Urban Designer to join the Planning and Design team, a progressive group of landscape architects, planners and urban designers that work collaboratively and across disciplines within the Melbourne office and as part of a national team delivering city-shaping projects.
As part of the team you will contribute to a design studio environment, where you can help deliver and lead city shaping projects, and where you will be valued and rewarded for your creativity, collaboration and innovation. In this role you will be given the opportunity to develop urban design concepts, frameworks, and guidelines for major development, strategic planning, and infrastructure with a substantial pipeline of projects in the transport infrastructure space. You will help build positive client relationships and work with our development, government and infrastructure clients to design and deliver great places.
Demonstrable experience as an Urban Designer
Be able to produce written and illustrative documentation that is of a high standard and in accordance with AECOM and/ or Project standard formats
Proficiently use Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office and AutoCAD 3D modelling (Rhino/Sketch Up/Revit) programs
Ability to communicate effectively and positively with a broad range of clients, stakeholders and project partners.
- Tertiary degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design or similar.
