Job Summary

ACEOM is seeking a working level Security Manager who has strong knowledge of all client Agency policies and procedures regarding the implementation of a Security program. This includes but is not limited to personnel security, physical security, and COMSEC. Prior management and supervisory experience is required to manage the security plan for a large staff of professionals in a very dynamic work environment. Additionally, there may be some full/part time direct supervision as part of this job function. The Security Manager shall ensure AECOM compliance with applicable National Industrial Security Program and Intelligence Community security requirements. The Security Manager reports to the Deputy Program Manager and is responsible for the following:


  • Interpret and enforce Government and company security policies and regulations, providing direction and guidance with regard to all security aspects of a Government contract.

  • Plan and organize all security related activities to be performed by AECOM.

  • Manage the visitor control function (both incoming and outgoing) to include the badge and access control programs.

  • Conduct security pre-screening and briefings.

  • Maintain an active Security Awareness and Education Program.

  • Make experienced judgment calls as to applicant viability.

Minimum Requirements


  • Must be a self-starter and have the desire and ability to work independently, with limited supervision.

  • Must be able to excel in multi-tasked and dynamic environments, prioritize, and manage the schedule.

  • Must present a professional demeanor and demonstrate excellent speaking, writing and organizational skills, enabling effective communications with fellow employees and government officials.

  • Full working knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and associated Intelligence Community policies and procedures.

  • Must possess a TS Security Clearance with Poly.

EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in Business, or related field/equivalent.

EXPERIENCE: Ten to twelve years of related professional experience, including supervisory/management experience required.

Five (5) + years of experience working in the Intelligence Community required.
