Job Description

AECOM is searching for a Contract Administrator for a full-time position based out of our Markham, ON office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Reviews work to ensure compliance with the contract specifications and drawings for medium sized project of $2M or greater.

  • Responsible for preparing project reports such as daily, weekly, and monthly reports including progress photographs.

  • Lead progress and schedule meetings including preparation and distribution of minutes of meetings.

  • Review and respond to contractor submitted schedules

  • Review and respond to contractor RFIs and resolve on site issues.

  • Review contractor submitted shop drawings.

  • Review contractor submitted quotations for compliance to the contemplated change notice (CCN) and specifications/drawings.

  • Prepare CCNs and SIs for issuance to the contractor.

  • Review for acceptance the contractor submitted monthly progress payment certificates.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree + 5 years of relevant of experience or Diploma/Certificate + 6 years of contract administration experience including training.

  • Must have Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) or Certified Technician (C.Tech) designation.

  • Must be a member of Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) and Road Construction Contract Administrator (rcaa).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in odour control facilities, water distribution systems, sewage collection systems, sewage pumping station, sanitary sewer rehabilitation project.
