AECOM is currently seeking to hire Structural REVIT Technician to be based at Manchester.
The technician will be working on a wide range of structural projects including; industrial, commercial, retail, residential, airport development, new build and refurbishment.
Liaison with external and internal client teams.
Preparation and coordination of structural drawings and structural BIM models.
Preparation and coordination of structural reinforcement drawings and details.
Preparing technical supporting data for specifications and reports etc.
Ensure compliance to the appropriate company CAD/BIM standards and protocol.
Apply policies relating to company standards & procedures, health & safety, quality, and training.
Liaison with wider AECOM BIM Community to advance skills and service offer.
Mentoring less experienced members of the CAD/BIM team.
Specific Skills Required:
Competent in use of Revit for structural engineering design in BIM.
Some relevant industry and project experience required.
Ideally membership of an appropriate professional institution (not mandatory).

Significant experience in the preparation of structural drawings & BIM models essential.
A background involving building structures essential.
AutoCAD and Revit experience essential (project Revit experience).
RC detailing experience essential.
- A relevant degree or HND/HNC qualification. Ideally will be a Chartered Technician or will be working towards an appropriate Chartered status with membership of a professional institution.
