Working on international projects as part of GDS family
Assignments usually include one or more of the following: calculations, preparation of plans and specifications, report preparation, and other activities of limited scope requiring knowledge of principles and techniques commonly employed in a specific narrow area of assignment
Working on small projects or portions of larger projects, with work being reviewed by senior or appropriately experienced engineer
Building ground / geological models using specific tools.
Processing of geotechnical data for ground interpretation and report preparation
Working on calculations related with ground engineering and tunnelling using specific software as Geoestudio / Plaxis / FLAC3D.
Preparation of drawings at each stage of the design process (Feasibility studies, Preliminary design, Approval Design, Detailed design)
4+ years in civil and infrastructure projects,
Fluent in English and Polish (oral and written)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Working knowledge on geotechnical and tunneling is required in particular related with soil structure interaction
Working knowledge of types of international codes and standards (AASTHO; Eurocodes; British Standards, etc.)
Proficiency using various software packages for analysis and design such as Plaxis, Flac, Slope and in general willing to learn finite element modeling
Basic knowledge of engineering techniques for geotechnical and tunneling
Proven commitment with Quality Control Policy and Quality Management System.
- Bachelor or Master degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University
