The Compensation & Benefits Manager is responsible for supporting Regional and County leadership and working closely with the Regional HR team on the development, implementation and operation of reward programs across AECOM’s Continental Europe businesses. This is a large geographic region covering a wide range of countries. The position will report to the Director of Total Rewards for Europe, Middle East and Africa and will be a key member of the EMEA Rewards Team.
Key initiatives for the role for 2019 will include:
Completing the implementation of Workday and a new Global Career Architecture
Supporting the move to a full HR Services model
Identification of new market data sources and development of salary ranges aligned to the new job structure.
Partner with the EMIA Total Rewards team and Global Compensation & Benefits Centres of Expertise, in the design, implementation, and management of compensation programs and initiatives which include base and variable pay programs and benefits programs such as risk, medical and retirement plans.
Develop strong partnerships with the HR business partners, business leadership and Talent Acquisition teams to identify and solve compensation related business challenges
Manage the development, alignment and administration of compensation, policies and programs including: job levelling, market pricing, salary surveys, salary structures and increase recommendations
Responsible for managing the annual Compensation Planning process for the Region, including salary increases, incentive awards and equity awards.
Manage compensation through review and approval of change proposals via Workday
Enable efficient delivery of benefits plans across the Region including global programmes and International Pooling
Partner with our Global Broker on risk benefit and medical plan renewals.
Support and develop local HR and HR Services teams to ensure they understand AECOM’s programmes and the core principles of Reward management.
Conduct research, identify benchmark resources, analyze data to identify trends within the Region and recommend business solutions, such as changes to existing or the implementation of new programmes.
Stay abreast of current compensation and benefits trends and best practices and ensure all compensation and benefits programs and practices are in compliance with regulatory requirements in each country, providing recommendations for amendments for improvements.
Continental Europe is a complex fast paced Region and the position requires significant experience in managing compensation and benefits arrangements across multiple countries within Europe
Qualified candidates will be numerate and hold a degree in a STEM or Business discipline or have an equivalent professional qualification.
Strong analytical and organizational skills and the ability to interpret data and report on it in a clear concise way are essential
Ability to build effective relationships with HR teams and leadership across the Region will be key to success.
Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills are required, along with a track record of implementing new programmes.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in business English and one of more European languages, have an international perspective and be comfortable operating in a diverse international environment.
