AECOM EHS auditor in Madrid, Spain

Job Summary

AECOM is currently seeking an EHS auditor and Environmental consultant to be based at our Madrid office. The successful candidate will be primarily supporting the EHS auditing team and the existing environmental and sustainability services for our multinational and local clients. He/she will mainly be exposed to EHS audits of very different nature, corresponding to simple sites and more complex industrial and energy facilities. He/she could also be exposed to other environmental related projects such as environmental impact assessments and EHS services, risk assessment, biodiversity studies, etc.

Duties and Responsibilities.

  • Work on national and international Environmental Impact Assessments for O&G and infrastructure projects.

  • Carry out EHS audits

  • Write technical reports in English and Spanish.

  • Support projects in Spain and other regions as when required.

  • Shall report quality, environmental, health and safety problems or any suggestions to his/her immediate superior.

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience in EHS audits for industrial facilities

  • Experience with any other environmental projects (ESIs, ESG, etc) .

  • Essential: VERY HIGH ENGLISH LEVEL (spoken and written).

  • Ethical commitment, teamwork, concern for quality, wishing to learn.

  • The following will also be positively considered:

  • Other languages, such as Portuguese or French.

  • H&S training

  • Use of GIS tools

  • Driving license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master’s Degree or Degree in Environmental, Agronomical or Forest Engineering, chemical engineer, Biologist, Marine Biologist, or related fields.
