AECOM Sr. Manager of Railroad Technology in Los Angeles, California

Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Sr. Manager, Rail Technology to be based in Los Angeles, CA. This position is contingent upon an expected contract award.

Job Summary:

  • Contributes to short- and/or long-range IT program plans consistent with the information needs and priorities of the functional group.

  • May develop and initiate programs that support functions and strategies of IT and the organization.

  • May perform the personnel management functions required to develop and maintain a qualified and motivated staff.

  • Oversees the administration and maintenance of the company’s infrastructure and directs, leads and manages as necessary.

  • Works with diverse business groups and customers to implement strategic objectives for the IT organization.

  • Reports to an IT Director.

  • May provide consultation and support to project groups and users in operating systems.

Minimum Requirements

BA/BS + 10 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical role creating deliverables on rail projects.

  • Technical experience with train control systems.

  • Experience performing feasibility studies.
