AECOM Intermediate Architectural Designer in Los Angeles, California

AECOM B+P is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Intermediate Architectural Designer for immediate employment.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Work independently as part of a project team in developing architectural design, under supervision by the Project Architect or Design Principal
Develop strong innovative design concepts including technical solutions to make the design feasible
Promoting excellence and proactively contributing to the studio culture.
Performing basic architectural/engineering calculations.
Preparing specifications, reports and related data tables.
Maintaining liaison with design and drafting groups.
Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required.
Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may perform technical assignments of moderate complexity within approved schedules and budgets.
May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project.
May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
2+ years’ experience
Familiarity with local building codes
Diverse knowledge of architecture principles and practices
Affinity with developing details and experience in construction documents
Ability to lead integrated design teams of varying sizes to accomplish project delivery from concept through construction document completion and may perform construction administration
Fluency in English is mandatory, another other language is an asset
Proficiency with Revit
Strong AutoCAD, 3D Max, Rhino, Adobe Suite skills
Confidence in working in a complex environment

5+ years of relevent experience
Path to Licensure
