Job Summary

The Program Management/Construction Management (PM/CM) business line specializes in the management of design and construction of community infrastructure facilities for education, healthcare, national governments, sports and leisure, justice, cultural venues, and commercial needs. From concept through completion, we provide necessary technical and administrative services to help our clients meet their program objectives. Our professionals serve as an extension of our clients' staff, protecting their interests as our own, and often working within our clients' offices. As an industry leader in PM/CM, we oversee activities ranging from planning, coordination, scheduling and cost control, to design, construction and commissioning.

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly experienced Western US Healthcare Leader for immediate employment.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:

  • The Western US Healthcare leader will focus on selling PMCM services in Los Angeles and San Francisco and the Pacific region

  • Organize and direct all activities between the technical and administrative aspects of the program including scheduling, budgeting, cost control, cash flow, QA/QC, risk analysis, document control and management information systems

  • Balance and appropriately address the needs/concerns of all the stakeholders impacted by this program, including but not limited to the client, public, local businesses, politicians, other agencies and the regulatory community

  • Lead development and drive implementation of the necessary business processes, plans and procedures required to manage construction in a programmatic, process-driven manner

  • Work with the client in the selection of other consultants and will provide management oversight related to performance, schedule and cost for construction management based on Key Performance Indicators

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree plus twelve (12) years of related experience in healthcare program and construction management, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years of leadership.

  • The Healthcare Leader will have extensive PM experience and contacts in Public and Teaching Hospitals, Not-for-Profit and For-Profit Health Systems and the UC Health System.

  • Outstanding marketing and sales experience, client service, organizational, planning, communications, supervisory and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent and verifiable performance track record including sales success

  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or Engineering

  • 15+ years of relevant OSHPD Healthcare program and construction management experience

  • Heavy engagement with California clients and a firm understanding/experience regarding OSHPD

  • $1 B+ capital improvement program experience

  • Outstanding marketing and sales experience, client service, organizational, planning, communications, supervisory and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent and verifiable performance track record including sales success
