AECOM is seeking a highly talented Digital Transformation Lead to join our Corporate Global Business Services team. This position can be based in any of our major US office locations.
As part of its transformation initiative, AECOM is investing in intelligent automation capabilities to drive operational efficiency across the enterprise. We are seeking an individual to help establish an Intelligent Automation (IA) COE.
Reporting to the Vice President of Global Business Services, the AECOM Digital Transformation Lead is a key leadership role which includes managing the life cycle delivery of IA solutions, developing and executing automation strategy, driving innovation by selecting the right technologies, and championing IA across the global AECOM enterprise. The Digital Transformation Lead will manage the IA COE and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Deployment Project team, coordinating larger scale RPA implementations and smaller projects in parallel. This role will facilitate the handover from implementation analysts to operations and provide post Go-Live support.
The Digital Transformation Lead role looks beyond day-to-day operations and has oversight over the entire process, whether managed by shared services, or upstream or downstream.
Key responsibilities include:
Defining and executing digital strategy and champion Intelligent Automation across the global AECOM enterprise.
Partnering closely with Global Process Owners and other functional owners who are responsible for leading programs to optimize Company’s end to end business processes (e.g. Order to Cash, Source to Pay, Record to Analyze, Project Accounting).
Driving the prioritization and reporting of the project portfolio in alignment with IT; Represents Shared services at internal IT prioritization meetings; advocates for shared services technology improvements.
Serving as Intelligent Automation SME and provide knowledge for successful deployment of Intelligent Automation methodology.
Being aware of current and future market and industry trends both inside and outside of the Intelligent Automation space.

As a member of the corporate team, you will work with professionals at our headquarters in Century City, California and in business offices around the world to advance AECOM’s global strategies and priorities. With positions around the globe, the Corporate team includes finance, legal, human resources, information technology, marketing and communications, and real estate functions.
Qualified applicants must possess a BA/BS + EXTENSIVE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 6 years of leadership
Strong preference for experience in large enterprise deployments
Computer Science background preferred, with 5+ years hands-on experience
Previous service delivery experience is a strong plus
Deep understanding of Shared services/global business services operating models and demonstrates Thought Leadership in related concepts.
Familiarity with RPA Vendors such as Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, and UiPath
Strong leadership skills and to influence and lead diverse groups to achieve results and sustain momentum
Strong ability to communicate effectively and with various audiences
Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks, plans and deliverables
Demonstrated ability to drive action and evaluate and challenge the status quo
The leader must influence key executive stakeholders both within and outside GBS at all levels of the organization
Finance function transformation experience
PMP/Agile certification or agile approach experience
Large scale program management
Experience working with and managing a third-party providers and consultants
Key influencer, communicator and presenter
Knowledge of UiPath a plus
