Position Title Civil Engineer

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineer for employment in the Los Angeles, CA office.
The duties include but are not limited to:
Process, review and approve Utility Coordinator NOtification documents, including technical knowledge on reading Construction Plans, Utility NOtices and Summaries of First Notice Replies necessary for Contract Bid Advertisements
Process, review and coordinate the completion of Award Board Reports for Construction Project for PWw projects to be accepted by the Board of Public Works
Process, review and approve calculations for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise participation percentages to be approved by Caltrans for federally-funded construction projects and similar
Coordinate with LADOT for services not available to that department, including utility coordination, bid advertisement and utility relocation coordination of Construction projects
Coordinate quarterly meeting with LADWP construction project issues and facililtate execute power and water utility relocation as required by the project
Review and maintain several tracking processes for numerous project delivery phases
Organize electronic files for current and past projects
Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering or other related field required
5+ years' experience
PE Registration in CA
Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software
Basic knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as CADD, HCS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS, Hydrologic/Hydraulic models)
