AECOM Assistant Resident Engineer in Los Angeles, California
AECOM is hiring an Assistant Resident Engineer to be based in Los Angeles.

Under limited supervision, conducts work requiring independent evaluation, selection, adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria.
Is fully competent in most aspects of the job.
Works on projects of substantial complexity.
May assume lead responsibilities for a team of engineers and professional support personnel.
Assist the Resident Engineer in their duties.
Participate in submittal, RFI, RFC, construction submittal reviews, claim reviews and draft responses for review by the Resident Engineer.
Monitor and report on construction progress. Participate in meetings.
Coordinate the work of field inspectors.
Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience in Civil or Construction Engineering.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Due to the nature of the job, U.S. citizenship is required.
Master's degree in Civil or Construction Management with 8+ years of relevant experience.
Experience in Transit Stations , BART stations , or LA Transit stations.
