AECOM Civil Engineer in Long Beach, California

AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineer to work with multi-disciplinary teams in the preparation of site designs, engineering drawings, specifications, construction specifications, cost estimates, and planning/engineering reports.
This position can be located in any of AECOM's main Southern California offices or staffed remotely, with the ability to travel to client locations or other AECOM offices as needed.
Candidates will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:
Conducts civil engineering calculations, drafts and checks civil engineering drawings.
Prepares construction documents, design including final drawings and specifications.
Provides construction support and monitoring
Understands environmental regulations including familiarity with CWA, NPDES Permits, RCRA, CEQA, CERCLA, and CA laws and regulations.
Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
Provides quality control support to engineering and environmental designs, including problem solving.
Provides guidance to junior engineers.
Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision.
BS Degree in Civil or Environmental engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
CA Professional Engineer License.
Qualified SWPPP Developer, Qualified Industrial Storm Water Practitioner, Trainer of Record.
5+ years of professional experience.
