Job Description

AECOM is seeking an Administrative Intern to be based in our Long Beach, CA office.

This position is expected to begin in July 2023.

The Intern will support our Remediation team in the office. We are seeking motivated candidate who would like to develop and advance in a full-time environmental remediation career.

Job Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

  • Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.

  • Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled to a High school or secondary school

  • Must have completed one year of study

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Flexibility to work on a multitude of diverse projects.

  • Positive attitude and commitment to workplace health and safety are imperative.

  • Candidate must be proficient with basic computer programs ( i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams)

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

  • Valid US Driver's License

  • Candidates may be asked to submit to a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screening.

  • Offered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The hourly range for this position is $17 - $23/hr.
