Job Description

Do you want to work on a variety of exciting projects and work within a vibrant team, modern environment and be part of our established, experienced national engineering teams, across the UK&I?

Due to growth within our teams, we are currently recruiting for Structural Engineers across Senior & Principal levels.

You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of significant development projects (across all stages of development), for a range of Clients. You will contribute to, and be part of, a proactive learning environment within a wider national community of engineers.

Some of the projects we are currently working on are:

  • NEOM The Line, Saudi Arabia

  • Polden Bower Special Educational Needs School, Bridgwater

  • Southport Marine Lakes Events Centre, Sefton, Liverpool

  • Royal Victoria Hospitals Children’s Hospital, Belfast

  • RAF Typhon Hangers, Lossiemouth

  • Central Bank of Ireland, Dublin

Qualifications

We recognise a variety of experience and backgrounds may suit this role. Without being prescriptive we are seeking the right blend of skills from the following list, with the understanding that experience levels in specific technical areas may vary.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent knowledge of standard engineering practices, techniques, procedures and Structural principles.

  • Undertaking structural engineering projects, performing analyses and calculations as appropriate.

  • Supervising work, ensuring that it is carried out to the appropriate technical standard and that it is managed to programme and budget

  • Ability to deliver design solutions, assessment calculations, lead teams and successfully manage projects.

  • A solid track record of having worked on a variety of structures projects, possibly as project leader on some, with experience of dealing directly with clients.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline

  • Chartered Engineer (CEng)

  • Member of either the Institution of Civil Engineers and/or the Institution of Structural Engineers
