Performs a variety of tasks in support of survey or construction activities.
Duties may differ depending on the specialty area.
Activities may include setting up and operating equipment; inspecting equipment; inspection of engineering installations for compliance with specifications; maintaining project documentation; assisting with the building, repair, or maintenance of a structure or roadway.
Relies on complete knowledge of procedures, company policies, and business practices to plan and accomplish goals.
At this level, incumbents normally handle a wide range of relatively complex protocols; viewed as fully competent within limits of experience.
Works under general supervision.
The Safe Work Leader 2 will
Be responsible on site for task and operational safety of AECOM and subcontract staff safety
Assist AECOM planning team through attendance at planning, PICOP and whiteboard meetings
Manage AECOM worksites within possessions
Be involved in the Safe Work Pack planning process as the Person In Charge (PIC)
Carry out pre possession and line block site visits
Represent expected AECOM safety behaviours on site and be a role model for all staff
Ensure compliance with safe systems of work on site
Ensure all personnel under your control are fully briefed and working in a safe manner
Be prepared to travel and work anywhere in mainland UK (within reason)
