Job Description
Due to expanding workload, AECOM are recruiting for the above roles in the UK. AECOM are offering a great opportunity to join our rapidly growing architecture team in our multi-disciplinary offices. We have Vacancies in our London, Manchester, Warrington, Glasgow and Belfast offices. About Our Team:
AECOM’s design team in London is a dynamic multi-disciplinary collaborative team working on sports, leisure & culture, healthcare, workplace, interiors, masterplanning, landscape and export work for major international clients. We work closely with our engineers and specialists in-house. Work for Middle East clients is a major part of the London office commissions and provides large scale complex schemes which will be of interest for architects who thrive in a challenging and dynamic environment. Many of our current and upcoming projects are high-end commissions which require creative and innovative solutions from concept design to detailed design, modular built and on-site implementation.
Project/Design Responsibilities
To work directly with the Creative Director of the Design Studio in a collaborative Computational Design Unit.
To lead on the digital delivery of complex architectural projects utilising offshore design delivery centres in Asia.
To develop DFMA and modular built solutions for our client’s projects.
To drive innovation across AECOM projects and develop customised workflows and digital delivery solutions.
To perform material and building system research and participate in the co-ordination and preparation of project specifications.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
Talented, ambitious, and committed individual with an interest in working with a highly creative and free-thinking team
Relevant degree or professional qualification in Architecture, Computational Design and/or Architectural Technology
A clear work history and portfolio of professional development and learning.
Experience in delivering the design of complex and iconic design projects utilising advanced digital tools and solutions.
Experience in DFMA and modular built.
Ability to lead multidisciplinary Project Teams and fulfil the role of a Project Architect.
Ability to Lead the design delivery of complex projects including liaison with Contractors and Manufacturers.
Willingness to travel internationally.
Minimum Requirements:
Extensive knowledge of relevant software solutions.
Expert level knowledge of design and construction documentation.
Expert level knowledge of Modern Methods of Construction.

BIM Software: Revit.
CAD Software incl.: AutoCad, Autodesk Inventor.
VIZ Software incl.: Twin Motion.

Extensive knowledge of CAD applications to manufacturing output.
Expert level knowledge in Kit Connect for Revit, Fusion 360.
Expert knowledge in model assembly structures (dependency strategy).
