Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a creative, motivated and highly talented Commercial Assistant for employment in the London office to support the growth demands of the Rail sector. The selected candidate for this position needs to demonstrate competence in the below items:
Knowledge of project management and associated methodologies, in relation to planning, monitoring and controlling projects throughout their lifecycle
Strong analytic and numeracy skills with the ability to understand and present data in different representations
Skilled in manipulating large and complex data sets to represent the data formats necessary to control projects and programmes of work
Understands financial terminology and recognises the financial impact of various project actions
Good communicator, (both written and verbal) with ability to present at UK client meetings either in person or via remote working facilities
Analyses financial data to identify key project issues
Prepares cost forecasts which can be updated periodically
Prepares and analyses progress trends and cost impact
Prepares and assists in various levels of project reporting
Participates in project cost review meetings both for internal and external client purposes.
Minimum Requirements
Degree qualified
BA/BSc in accounting, maths, statistics, MORSE, Actuarial sciences, Engineering
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent capability in the use of Excel
Competence in the Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
Knowledge of MS Project is desirable
Knowledge in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) is desirable
