We are currently looking for an Associate level Workplace Strategy & Change Consultant with 5-10 years’ experience to join our team. The core team is based in London however, we operate a hybrid working model and so the only stipulation is that candidates are based in the UK and are prepared to travel to clients and team events when appropriate inline with AECOMS ‘travel with purpose’ policy.

Responsibilities within role:

  • Develop and deliver end to end user centered strategy and change programmes. From the initial stage of identifying business need and change readiness, developing workplace and change strategies to measuring the impact of the strategy and change post completion.

  • Participate in business development activities from writing tender responses and proposals to client presentations and interviews.

  • Lead client relationship and stakeholder engagement activities.

  • Create comprehensive project reports and graphic client presentations.

  • Work with other teams and departments within AECOM in order to deliver a seamless end to end client experience.

  • Input into the continual evolution of the practice including the development of new tools and materials where required.

  • Activity contribute to thought leadership pieces relating to workplace transformation and change.

Minimum Requirements

  • Ability to think strategically – an in depth understanding of client challenges and how current workplace strategies and design trends can address them.

  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships and support the management of key client accounts (where appropriate) with a pipeline of work overtime.

  • Experience in developing and delivering successful end to end user centered workplace strategies and change programmes.

  • Comfortable supporting client communications, leading workshops and delivering presentations.

  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities effectively, often under time pressures.

  • Comfortable with data and research material – ability to draw out the ‘story’ from data and present it in a clear and concise way.

  • Solid understanding of, and ability to apply change management theory in live project situations.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience in engaging with, and leading stakeholders (including c-suite members) through workplace and cultural change programmes.

  • Additional experience considered an advantage but not essential:

  • working on transformation projects in the public sector

  • application of Design Thinking /Experience Design techniques
