The successful candidate will:
Lead management and delivery of a range of stakeholder engagement projects, with a focus on pre-application consultation and engagement for infrastructure development projects;
Lead growth of the stakeholder engagement service across AECOM, with a focus on providing advice and support to teams across the UK; and
Build relationships across AECOM’s wider business to identify and develop opportunities for co-operation, with a focus on the transportation, water and power sectors.
The team currently comes from a wide range of backgrounds, and we would be particularly interested in hearing from candidates with experience of stakeholder engagement, consultation or communications on complex and high-profile projects. Experience of working on infrastructure or development schemes is an advantage.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Lead stakeholder engagement, communications and consultation (including feedback analysis) activity on major infrastructure projects;
Lead the identification of new business opportunities and associated proposal development;
Proactively promote AECOM’s stakeholder engagement service to both internal and external audiences; and
Support the management of a team of consultant
Support the operational management of the Stakeholder Engagement team
Extensive experience of delivering stakeholder engagement, statutory consultation or communications for complex projects, ideally related to infrastructure development;
Experience of managing and developing successful teams and a passion for helping people maximise their potential;
Experience of managing budgets and resources on major infrastructure projects;
Experience of business development.
- Third level qualification in a relevant discipline, including (although not limited to) environmental sciences, planning, social sciences, history, law, communications or marketing.
