Position Title Associate Director - Public Health

Job Summary

Our Building Engineering business line is currently seeking a Associate Director - Public Health to be based in our London office to join our building services team. We have secured some world class projects ranging from Sports Stadiums in the Middle East, Hotel Complexes in Europe, International educational work plus work nearer to home in all the major sectors.

About the office:

Based in our Aldgate Tower office in Central London, we house almost 1000 staff across 3 floors of this prestigious building which has achieved an SKA gold rating for its environmental performance and staff related health and wellbeing.

With the office located directly opposite Aldgate East station, we are within a 10 minute walking distance of Aldgate, Fenchurch Street, Liverpool Street and Tower Hill.

AECOM’s designers selected finishes, furniture and fittings with low VOCs, avoiding contaminants such as benzene, formaldehyde and naphthalene. Combined with an extensive planting scheme, fine air filters and generous volumes of fresh air, the project is aiming for low CO2 and low VOC across all the floorplates.

All the timber used on the project was sustainably sourced and priority was given to products with higher recycled content. For example, the countertops in breakout areas are 89% recycled glass content, far higher than standard practice. Similarly, the furniture, partitions, doors and joinery products were all selected on the basis of whether they had globally recognised sustainability credentials.
