Job Summary

AECOM’s Workplace Advisory team (legacy DEGW) started the debate about the role of workplace as a catalyst for organisational change over 40 years ago.

We are passionate about forecasting the future of work and helping our clients to understand the impact on their workers and the workplace. Our methodology is user centred putting the needs of people and the experience of work at the heart of our projects and as such the role of change management is growth area within our practice.

We are looking for experienced individuals who can contribute to the debate; who aren’t afraid to ask questions and can translate ideas into practical and achievable solutions for clients.

We are looking to hire an associate with 6-10 years’ experience developing and delivering workplace change projects. The role is primarily based in London working with organisations to support their workplace transformation and culture change programmes in both the commercial and public sector.

Responsibilities within role:

  • Develop and deliver end to end change programmes from the initial stage of identifying the change and change readiness to measuring the impact of the change post completion.

  • Participate in business development activities from writing tender responses and proposals to client presentations and interviews.

  • Lead client relationship and stakeholder engagement activities.

  • Create comprehensive project reports and graphic client presentations.

  • Work with other teams and departments within AECOM in order to deliver a seamless end to end client experience.

  • Input into the continual evolution of the practice including the development of new tools and materials where required.

  • Activity contribute to thought leadership pieces relating to workplace transformation and change.

  • Experience and individual requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience in developing and delivering successful end to end change management programmes for an array of clients.

  • Solid understanding of, and ability to apply change management theory in live project situations.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Skills to proactively manage the client relationship throughout the differing aspects of the project lifecycle.

  • Experience in engaging with, and leading stakeholders (including c-suite members) through workplace and cultural change programmes.

  • Additional experience considered an advantage but not essential:

  • working on transformation projects in the public sector

  • application of Design Thinking /Experience Design techniques

  • We value experience and ability and are happy to consider candidates from a background in workplace transformation and design or organisational and business transformation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors of Degree in Engineering filed
