A Project Manager specialising in management of NEC contracts providing a comprehensive, accurate and value driven project management/contract administration service for large, high profile and exciting key infrastructure clients. The role will include all aspects of project management and contract administration across the project lifecycle from the initial inception, feasibility, design and procurement stages and onto the site delivery / commissioning phase of a project.
As an NEC Project Manager (Infrastructure) you will provide a comprehensive, accurate and value driven service for large, high profile and exciting key infrastructure clients.
Act as the NEC Project Manager on behalf of the client, delivering the role in line with the requirements of the New Engineering Contract (NEC) and as specified by the client.
Deliver professional and diligent management of NEC contracts, working with all parties to ensure they meet their contractual obligations
Work with the client and other parties to ensure successful delivery and completion of construction projects.
Provide oversight / strategic guidance /audit & review, to a portfolio of projects being lead within the cost centre
Ensure commissions are managed to the right quality standards and are completed efficiently and on time
Strong relationships are developed with clients and members of the cross-functional team
Business development opportunities with existing and new clients, including cross- selling opportunities, are identified and acted upon
Be the primary interface with AECOM clients (New and Existing) as required
Manage the delivery of project management outputs, in accordance with agreed time-scales and quality standards
Management of tender documents, appraisals and negotiations
NEC Accredited Project Manager or proven track record of administering NEC contracts on complex infrastructure construction projects
Member of the Association of Project Managers (MAPM), or equivalent
Experience of working within a client organisation, either directly or through a co-location/secondment arrangement.
Comprehensive working knowledge of NEC suite of contracts, particularly the Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC)
Experience of working as part of integrated, multi-organisation, collaborative teams
Extensive Infrastructure and project management experience.
Experienced in a Client management role – Able to manage the account in terms of projects that are ‘live’, plus seeking new opportunities (desirable);
Excellent communication and organisational skills;
Highly motivated and with excellent industry network.
