We are currently hiring a Project Manager able to manage single projects or programs in the New Energy space in Europe, stationary in the Netherlands.

In parallel we deliver Energy services to our wider Markets in their relationships with clients for all their Energy needs. Job Description
We are looking to hire someone initially focussed on projects in the Energy Transition segment: transportation electrification (EV), hydrogen and wider infrastructure decarbonisation solutions. With a fast-moving market your role can shift to other parts of the Energy space and AECOM’s wider ESG agenda.
Within this function you will play a key role in all the stages of the project, from strategy and consulting to feasibility, execution and successful handover of your projects or programs.
Key duties include:
Provide (technical) support to our client’s challenges in the New Energy space, always finding the right solution and capabilities available at AECOM
Providing leadership and management for the project allocated to the required schedule, to budget quality and environmental standards.
Act as the Company representative for all day-to-day Contract matters with the Client during the program execution.
Negotiate changes to the scope of work with the client and contractors.
Delivery of the project against all HSE metrics
Build and maintain a well-functioning team and relationships with the various parties involved within the project: e.g., design, procurement, environment, (sub)contractor(s) and other stakeholders such as AECOM Energy, technical advisors, operator(s) and end users.
Monitor financial performance of your projects and programs in line with AECOM financial reporting, project reviews and other mandatory requirements.
Administer AECOM contracts and ensure compliance with company procedures.
Minimum Requirements
Engineering Degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum experience in managing construction projects and/or programs, experience in EV delivery projects or programs is a plus.
Proven affinity with the Energy Transition and/or Energy space
Fluent Dutch and English language skills.
Flexible to travel and able to divide time between home, office and client sites HSSE Leadership
Confident and capable individual with strong client focus, able to operate and grow a performing team
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Confident in formulating and expressing robust opinions. Assertive and challenging as required.
Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
Good grasp of IT, particularly Excel, Word and project planning software.
Valid driving licence
Preferred Qualifications
A background in Electrical Engineering would be beneficial
Experience with Electrical Vehicle Charging Infrastructure is a plus
