Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our established Leeds team.
The role reports to the Associate Director and would be responsible for the delivery of small and medium sized projects
Job responsibilities would include:
Assisting in the development of junior and graduate engineers.
Participating, managing and engaging in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
Participating in quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
Preparing technical specification sections.
Assist the Associate Director in providing information to manage project resources to meet the agreed deliverables on programme and within budget.
The ideal candidate would have a good understanding of software packages used to design electrical building services systems.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in delivering electrical building services design
A highly motivated individual with a passion for succeeding and developing
Have previous experience working as either a Intermediate / Senior Engineer
Excellent communicator (both written and verbal).
Working towards chartership with a relevant professional body, such as IET or CIBSE.
Good understanding of software packages used to the design electrical building services systems.
Experience in delivering projects using BIM software packages (Revit, Amtech and Dialux)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in Building Services or Electrical Engineering.
Should either be chartered or working towards accreditation.
Extensive post graduate experience
The successful candidate will preferably have had experience in the design and delivery of healthcare facilities and be familiar with HTM/HBN
