AECOM Programmer in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Job Summary

You will work with top professionals from around the globe for the realisation of Digital Transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform, monitor and supervise key activities in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from System Analysis and Design (SA&D), System Implementation and Integration (SI&I), Testing (e.g. Integration Test, Performance Test, etc.), Training and Rollout of web / mobile applications for clients from different industries

  • Liaise with client and coordinate internal resources for completion of the aforementioned activities within time, budget and meeting predefined quality criteria

Collaborate and influence

  • External and Internal clients to incubate Digital Transformation initiatives, with the completion of them in mind

  • Perform any assignments assigned by the team

  • Enforce ethics and compliance policy including Third Party payment, Sub-consultancy engagement process and Gift and Entertainment policy

Minimum Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in mobile application design and development in iOS and/or Android environment

  • Hands-on experience in Rational Database Management System (RDBMS) design, experience in database performance tuning / ETL will be advantageous

  • Basic understanding of application framework and architecture in enterprise environment (e.g. Microservices, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), etc.), experience in designing / implementing /supporting High Availability (HA) solutions in Cloud environment will be advantageous

  • Experience in supervision of remote team, multi-party and/or multi-location collaboration for project delivery will be advantageous

  • Good communication, technical and analytical skills, self-motivated and able to work under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering or related disciplines

  • 5+ years post-qualification experience in web and mobile development
