Job Summary

Purpose and Scope:

Responsible for supporting procedure development, planning and scheduling activities to include facility testing from construction through turnover, Validation and Verification (V&V) activities, and operational support for the Space Launch System (SLS) program. Work Integration Planning and Scheduling Analyst is the customer interface for all facility readiness for launch and flight hardware processing, V&V support and flight operations.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Planning, tracking cost and schedule for integrated and local support operations in flight processing facilities.

  • Supports the development of plans and schedules for V&V activities.

  • Identifies operational constraints, documents and tracks constraints to closure.

  • Assists in coordination of schedule input with all parts of the organization.

  • Updates and produces scheduling management reports.

  • Able to use drawings and specifications for schedule development.

  • Able to resource load schedule and perform remedial schedule risk analysis.

  • Responsible for assembling data for schedule updating.

  • Performs Flight vehicle scheduling and testing.

  • Implements Integrated Flight vehicle procedures.

  • Incorporates directed changes into schedule baseline

  • Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, business, or a related field and seven years of experience. Demonstrated experience may substitute for degree. Experience in space vehicle processing, facility systems interface, or operating facilities systems in a planning and scheduling role is required. Position requires good oral and written communication skills, working knowledge of MS Office and integrated software applications, organizational skills, and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance. Position may require travel.

Preferred Qualifications

Possessing or in pursuit of the PSP (Planning and Scheduling Professional), EVP (Earned Value Professional), PMP (Project Management Professional), or CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) certification is desirable. Field experience along with experience in CMMS tools, Maximo, Solumina, MS Project and/or Primavera is desirable.
