Purpose and Scope:
Manage technical performance of assigned work. Oversee and monitor unit compliance with QA and process improvement goals and standards. Periodically evaluate performance of all subordinates, supervisors and technical professionals. Perform duties in compliance with Federal, State, local, NASA and Air Force laws and regulations and requirements and KSC/CCAS energy management conservation regulations, collective bargaining agreements, security safety, hurricane and other specialized programs or contractual requirements relating to the business of the section, working within the limits of established policy.
Establish technical/procedural guidelines to meet work section needs in accordance with company and customer requirements.
Oversee the development and management of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), utilizing MS Project and develop transition plan to Primavera. Chair weekly Project review.
Oversee and review, weekly shop schedules in Maximo \ Akwire. Chair Bi-weekly planning and scheduling team meetings
Monitor and support the review and classification of all incoming work requests via the Electronic Work Request System (EWRS).
Manage Planning and Estimating (P&E) organization and oversee development of tasking and bill of materials development.
Leads Tank Team Leaders (TTL), evaluates/adjusts procedures or reassigns priorities to projects/tasks to keep activities on schedule and within budget.
Ensures appropriate training is provided to personnel to promote continuous improvement of customer services.
Interacts/coordinates with the customer to ensure all requirements or agreements are being met.
Performs other related managerial tasks as requested by senior management.
Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Procedure Compliance - Each employee must read, understand and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures and policies pertaining to their job.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience based on four (4) years for each year of college, in engineering, management, or related field, or six to ten (6-10) years equivalent specialized training and work experience, or MS degree and four to six (4-6) years equivalent specialized training and work experience. Must have good communications and analytical skills and working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs. Experience in Maximo and MS Project required. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
Experience in Akwire scheduling tool, Primavera project management tool, and Project Management Professional certification (PMP) preferred.
