AECOM Engineer 5 – Laboratory Maintenance & Support - LASSO in Kennedy Space Center, Florida

Purpose and Scope:
Oversee preventive maintenance program for engineering, scientific, and research laboratories. Supervise technicians and engineers to ensure preventive maintenance is completed in a timely and correct fashion. Work with laboratory managers to ensure equipment and systems are available to support research and development schedules.
Assist with performance of routine maintenance on complex laboratory equipment in accordance with OEM requirements and specifications, industry and/or government standards.
Develop, document, and maintain Preventive Maintenance Instructions, and support development and maintenance of Lab Safety Plans and SOPs.
Monitor scheduling and completion of maintenance through Maximo work control system.
Ensure maintenance activities are being performed safely to protect personnel performing the maintenance activity, facility and laboratory occupants, and the equipment
Ensure that OEM maintenance agreements and software renewals are generated, tracked and fulfilled for specified laboratory equipment
Performs other position related duties and responsibilities as directed.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Scientific field. Ten years of job related experience. May be required to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance.
Experience working with scientific and analytical equipment in an engineering and research laboratory setting. Ability to lead a team of maintenance technicians and engineers.
