Position Title Project Manager - Water / Wastewater

AECOM's Water division is actively seeking a highly talented Project Manager - Water / Wastewater for immediate employment in the Kansas City, MO office. The appropriately qualified applicant must be able to demonstrate project experience in civil design of impoundments for stormwater and also familiarity with water treatment plant and/or wastewater treatment plant and pump station design, and conveyance systems for wastewater and/or stormwater. The ideal candidate has been working in the local area/region for several years.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Managing projects for the Water Business Line with up to $100k contract value and $50k-$250k annual gross revenue including planning, directing and supervising all aspects of the project financial results, client satisfaction, safety and quality.
Provide support on existing engineering design and construction projects and pursuits for the Water Business Line.
Identifying, pursuing, winning, and managing projects focused on the local civil and water infrastructure market including new and existing municipal and industrial clients with projects ranging from design of water/wastewater treatment systems, pump stations, conveyance, impoundments, stormwater systems, and general civil-site design
Supporting other office project managers with design support for general civil infrastructure projects
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
13+ years of civil engineering experience related to water / wastewater storm resources, and should include 3+ years experience overseeing and coordinating all technical aspects of small to mid-size projects and 5+ years of task and project management experience
Water resources experience from MO, KS, IA &/or NE
Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Missouri, or the ability to obtain reciprocity
Travel regionally up to 50% of the year
Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a focus on Water / Wastewater design
15+ years of civil engineering experience related to water / wastewater storm resources
