AECOM is seeking a BIM Specialist to be based in Kansas City, MO.
Works under general direction.
Responsible for providing leadership and direction of specific BIM technologies to assigned project teams.
Develops technical solutions to wide range of difficult problems.
Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.
Perform complex assignments involving the use of multiple application platforms and complex systems including Revit software to achieve set results and deadlines.
- BA/BS + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 10 + years' experience in relevant field
Fully conversant with the latest REVIT and familiar with previous versionsDrafting / Engineering Drafting AND AutoDESK Revit Structural trained
Able to provide Structural design/detailing and coordination of models with other design disciplines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be detail oriented, thorough, well organized, and effectively manage time
Team player with excellent listening skills and diplomacy; willingness to work with multiple different colleagues on a variety of initiatives
Ability to work in a high-paced environment with a sense of urgency
Strong organizational skills – ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Consultative, service-oriented mindset and collaborative problem-solving skills
Proactive and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage change effectively
Revit certificationHigh level communicator who is a capable teacher for all levels of BIM users
