AECOM Estimator in Indianapolis, Indiana
AECOM Hunt is seeking a highly talented Estimator to join our Hunt Construction group. This position will be supporting our Indianapolis, Indiana location.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for activities related to estimating all elements of project cost including labor (manual and non-manual), materials and permanent equipment, supplies, consumables and expenses, construction equipment rental and operating costs, contingency, escalation, program risk, etc.
Works with the Company estimating systems and processes.
Applies estimating terminology, measures, concepts and principles.
Recognizes how various processes/project actions and assumptions may impact the project estimates and begin to assist in quantifying the impact.
Prepares bid packages, conceptual estimates and analysis of subcontractor bids, etc. for projects.
Performs duties with some complexity under general supervision.
Expected to assist in the preparation of larger and more complex estimating assignments including the Estimate Plan.
Understands the URS EC Division costing structure (overheads, G&A, insurance, etc.)
Develops wage rate build-ups.
Reads and interprets drawings and specifications.
Develops detailed material take-offs for estimate development and field procurement of bulk materials.
Develops cash flow schedules and estimates.

- BS/BA plus 4 years of demonstrated experience in non-residential construction electrical estimating or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Demonstrated experience in electrical estimating with low voltage systems.
Experience in electrical estimating in various commercial industries, such as: aviation, healthcare, sports arenas, concert venues or hospitals.
Demonstrated experience with commercialized estimating programs, such as MC(square) or other computer aided estimating programs.
Electrical estimating experience from a larger GC or electrical contractor.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
This position will be required to travel 25% of the time to various project site locations in the area.
A valid US-drivers' license may be required.

This position is located in Indianapolis, IN. Relocation will not be provided. Remote work is NOT available for this position.
