Job Summary

The positions are required to perform all Creech Air Force Base supply Individual Protective Equipment (IPE) Functions.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Shelf Life Validation.

  • Overdue Asset Listing.

  • IPE Return.

  • IPE Issue.

  • Receipt of new Assets.

  • Joint Service Mask Leak Test (JSMLT).

  • IPE Validation, IPE Inventory.

  • Compile Readiness Report.

  • Gas Mask Cleaning.

  • Cleans IPE.

  • Unverified Contract Lot.

  • Out-process Members.

  • Must have an established record of effectively working with Base Supply personnel to resolve problems using working knowledge of supporting data systems, processes, and procedures.

  • Ensures mobility bags are maintained and equipped with clothing and equipment to permit personnel to perform their duties consistent with the deployment, contingency and/or exercise commitment.

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:

Must be able to operate up to a 10k capacity forklift and utilize material handling equipment. Must have a general knowledge of Air Force warehouse supply functions. Must be able to repetitively hold/balance, reach, flex position, twist, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat/crouch, climb, and sit (all for short or long periods of time). Must have a full range of mobility and endurance and be able to lift objects that weigh a minimum of 45 pounds. Constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines. Reports to Aircraft Parts Store (APS), Mobility Readiness Spare Part Kit (MRSPK), FSC and Individual Protective Equipment (IPE). Full-Time (Five days/ week schedule with overtime projected for mobility related exercises and/or /contingency operations).

Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of academic/technical/military training. Associates Degree preferred. This position requires 6 to 9 years work experience in the Air Force supply systems with an emphasis on IPE Management using ILS-S Mobility (formerly MICAS). Must be familiar with procedural requirements in AFI 23-101, AFMAN 23-122 and AFH 23-123, ILS-S User’s Manual, AFI 36-2654, AFI 25-2501, AFI 10-403 DoD MANUAL 4140.27, VOLUME 1 and various Technical Manuals used to manage mobility bag assets and weapons. Must be able to read, write legibly, speak, and understand English. Must possess and maintain a Secret level security clearance. Applicant must possess and maintain a valid Nevada state driver’s license.
