Position Title Electronic Maintenance III TIESP

AECOM is seeking Electronic Maintenance III TIESP in support of the Army Aviation and Missile Support Command, Field Support Directorate, Fleet and Logistical Support Directorate (FLSD), Huntsville Alabama.
Incumbent will possess expert knowledge of operation, capabilities and limitations of a wide range of electronic test equipment and systems, such as signal generators, oscilloscopes, multi-meters, spectrum analyzers, avionics test sets, etc. Sound ethodologies, concepts and practices to troubleshoot complex electronic test equipment to component level, including the use of automatic test equipment.

Procedure Compliance - Each employee must read, understand and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures and policies pertaining to his/her job.
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
Minimum five (5) years actual and recent experience in the repair of electronic test measurement and diagnostic equipment required.
Ability to develops and review designs by researching and analyzing a variety of engineering data.
Apply engineering practices to develop, prepare, or recommend schematics, designs changes, electrical drawings and parts lists.
Should be able to reverse engineer circuit card assemblies lacking documentation, recreating schematics, parts list and testing procedures.
Conducts tests of prototypes requiring selection and adaptation or modification of a wide variety of critical test equipment and test procedures.
Set up and operate equipment to record data to be analyzed and prepare test reports of significant complexity that require resolutions at engineering level.
Expert knowledge of operation, capabilities and limitations of a wide range of electronic test equipment and systems, such as signal generators, oscilloscopes, multi-meters, spectrum analyzers, avionics test sets, etc.
Sound methodologies, concepts and practices to troubleshoot complex electronic test equipment to component level, including the use of automatic test equipment.
Ability to read and interpret complex technical materials such as manuals, drawings, schematics and block diagrams.
Soldering experience of both surface mount and thru-hole components.
Ability to interact with design engineers, end users, and other key personnel to resolve complex technical issues.
Ability to work effectively with little or no supervision.
For quality purposes, IAW the contract PWS, all completed repairs must pass an established calibration process or meet the requirements of the OEM’s established specification tables.
Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
Position will require the ability to pass a pre-employment drug-screen and a government background check.
Candidates must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Over Five years experience in the repair of electronic test measurement and diagnostic equipment with relevant military training.
Military calibration experience preferred
