AECOM Survey Manager in Hunt Valley, Maryland

AECOM is actively seeking a Professional Licensed Survey Manager for immediate employment in Hunt Valley, MD. As the survey manager, you will be responsible for all transportation survey including highway, roadway, and right of way transportation projects as well as the development of Right of Way Mapping, legal descriptions, and sketches. The survey manager will lead the office surveyors, survey technician and survey field team. Typical projects include DOT, municipal and county transportation projects
Manages and coordinates surveys and investigations of land surfaces.
Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations and requirements, including boundary calculations and legal issues.
Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget.
Acts as advisor to land surveying team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
A bachelor’s degree in surveying/engineering or a scientific area and/or equivalent work experience and professional registration (Maryland PLS)
Has 10+ years of surveying experience.
Working knowledge and experience using Civil 3D software.
Must have a thorough understanding of project accounting and demonstrated ability to manage the schedule and budget for multiple projects at the same time.
Has experience in client development and supervision of the technical work of others.
Strong leadership skills are a must
Has a working knowledge of technical and office support software required to perform the essential functions of the position.
Maryland State Highway Administration experience
